Die Arbeit mit schutzbedürftigen Klienten und Klientinnen mit Leisa Bellmore
deutschWorking with Vulnerable Patients –
Leisa is teaching in english - there will be a german translation für german-speaking participants.
Working with vulnerable patients can be remarkably rewarding but requires a sensitive approach and attunement to their needs. Listening to our patients using auditory, visual and tactile senses provides a wealth of information and feedback – more than we could ever gain from simple answers to our questions. This is especially helpful when working with vulnerable patients: people recovering from trauma, with mental health issues, with cognitive or developmental issues or neuro-divergent people. These patients may have differing levels of self-awareness, health awareness and communication. Reading non-verbal cues, interpreting paralanguage, and interpreting tactile information from our hands can enrich our understanding of these patients, allowing us to provide the most supportive, effective shiatsu treatments possible so that our patients can thrive.
This workship will take place via zoom.
The recording of this will be available for all registered participants - those who attend live and those who watch this later.
jowever, participating lice is highly recommended.

Note: As it is always possible for course participants to be unable to attend a course due to unforeseen circumstances, we recommend a seminar fee insurance. In the event of illness, this will at least protect you from the financial burden and may make it easier to attend the desired course another time.
In some cases, travel expenses can also be covered by such insurance.
This insurance is offered by many providers. We therefore recommend that you contact an insurance company that you know.
We are unable to provide any advice regarding insurances or other services related.
