Shiatsu für Klienten und Klientinnen mit Alzheimer-Erkrankung mit Leisa Bellmore
deutschAlzheimer’s Disease –
Two-thirds of people living with Alzheimer’s experience stress and up to 90% will develop agitated behaviours during the course of the disease. Many people living with Alzheimer’s lack interpersonal touch of a nurturing nature.
Studies have demonstrated beneficial effects of shiatsu on stress.
Shiatsu has shown positive effects for depressive symptoms in persons with Alzheimer’s and has potential in reducing agitation.
This webinar will draw on the facilitator’s clinical, personal and research experience and will cover considerations when working with this population and adaptations to shiatsu techniques to ensure a comfortable, safe and effective treatment
Leisa Bellmore is teaching in english - there will be a translation into german für german-speaking participants.
This Webinar will take place via zoom. A recodring will be offered afterwards - no matter if participants could attend live.
however, we highly recommend to participate live.

Note: As it is always possible for course participants to be unable to attend a course due to unforeseen circumstances, we recommend a seminar fee insurance. In the event of illness, this will at least protect you from the financial burden and may make it easier to attend the desired course another time.
In some cases, travel expenses can also be covered by such insurance.
This insurance is offered by many providers. We therefore recommend that you contact an insurance company that you know.
We are unable to provide any advice regarding insurances or other services related.
